The duration of each match in the Dorset Saturday League Division 4 is 90 minutes (plus injury time), Teams play 11-a-side matches with maximum of 3 substitutions permitted within the 90 minutes. 3 points are awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw. At the end of the season the number of teams promoted from the league is 2, no teams are relegated.
