OWERMOIGNE FOOTBALL CLUB, nicknamed “THE OWLS”, was reformed in May 2007 and will be competing in their fifth season, currently in Division 4 of the Dorset Saturday League.
Previously OWERMOIGNE FOOTBALL CLUB were playing local competitive football prior to the 2nd World War and we hope the present team can one day aspire to the success they achieved. Find out more by clicking here or click on the page “Bygone Days”
This group picture shows some of the lads who initially used to meet up together on Saturday afternoons in late 2006, early 2007 for a weekly kick-about with their mates.

From these humble beginnings and with the support of several enthusiastic volunteers some of these lads all local teenagers from Dorchester and the surrounding villages of Owermoigne, Crossways, Moreton, and West Stafford decided in May 2007 to form their own football team and subsequently joined the Dorset Football Saturday League for the start of the 2007 / 2008 season - the rest as they say is history...!

OWERMOIGNE FOOTBALL CLUB are an ambitious club, but friendly group of players who are looking to recruit new players to strengthen and enhance our existing squad, not just for this season but for future season’s.
